One of my favorite wine bars in the Bay area. It opens relatively late compared to the other ones I know of. Besides wine flights, they also have beer flights. The wines usually rotate every month, so you'll always be trying something different! They also have a membership , but I can't make their monthly event where you collect your bottle of the month. It's a bit too early for me, especially being a weekday. I wish it was a bit later in the day, like 730pm onwards. If it was, I would definitely be a member!
Walked by the place and saw that they have the Almanac hazy DIPA on tap so just had to get a taste of it. Also ordered the delicious potebello mushroom flatbread. Really chilled servers as well. Enjoyed our stay during the nice balmy afternoon stroll in the Main Street Cupertino area.
Rootstock is a fine wine retreat with a good-sized cellar and bar menu of upscale food located in the Main Street Cupertino complex. Service was attentive and cultured, ordered a Malbec, a Rose, and the Chardonnay flight. Every single one of them was delicious. The wine list is carefully curated and handpicked, packed with amazing California bottles and plenty of European and South American vintages - FYI they also sell bottles for home consumption. Upscale location, nice interior and decor, and a variety of seating (high-tops, bar, booth, table, and outdoors). Really enjoyed it, and will certainly return - looking forward to more flights. It would take the experience to the next level by offering a variety of wine & cheese or some kind of wine & food pairings.
This place has been interesting for me personally the person Will has been a delightful person to talk to over a glass of reds or whites. Great place to unwind and relax after finishing work to debrief. Their subscription program is great my wine fridge is always brimming with great selection for me to enjoy at home.
Salads were delicious, the stuffed mushrooms were tasty but their flatbread was just meh. Worth coming for the variety of beers and great environment.

Nice patio and live music on Saturdays. Felt a bit overwhelmed with the variety of certain wines but would not recommend their rose wines. Limited selection. Recieved great help and they were pretty patient with us. Expensive. Check the price before hand easy can spend 30 bucks on a glass of wine.
Half of Mondays on select bottles before 8pm - this is highly recommended since bottles here are a little pricey and 50% off makes it such a great deal :) …
